Member Spotlight: Encorepreneur Cafe
Identifying the need for retired or semi-retired individuals to have space to pursue their entrepreneurial ideas, founders Masue Katayama, Seiko Adachi and Taka Murakawa opened the Encorepreneur Cafe nearly 2 years ago in Lloyd.
The Encorepreneur Cafe follows an increasing popular co-working model where for a monthly subscription the customer has access to a work and community space that includes numerous amenities such as:
Shared kitchen space
Sales and Marketing Manager, Erin Schmith, emphasizes the space welcomes everyone and is a great place to rent for hosting meetings, workshops, photoshoots, brainstorming sessions and other occasions for your organization.
The Founders of this business choose to set up shop in Lloyd due to the great access to transportation, the community feel and an underserved population for co-working services. In addition to the core services, cultural programming is growing part of what is being offered. Examples include regular Mah Jong meetups, Japanese cinema night and regular educational workshops.
