Come on a Bike Summer ride with Lloyd EcoDistrict and Go Lloyd to discover the hidden gems of the Lloyd EcoDistrict on a tour that reveals why there’s more to Lloyd than meets the eye! The tour will end at Duckworth Dock for Lloyd Live: At the Dock, where you can enjoy the sunset on the river or take a swim!
As Oregon’s first and only certified EcoDistrict / Just Growth community, Lloyd is setting the standard for collaborative, holistic development. We’re on a mission to transform Lloyd into one of the most sustainable neighborhoods in North America, championing equity, resilience, and climate protection. Along the way, you’ll see the nation’s first pollinator bike corridor, cutting-edge water treatment systems, sustainable buildings, resilience infrastructure, vibrant murals, important memorials, redesigned parks, community gardening projects, and more.
Lloyd EcoDistrict will be joined by our partner at Go Lloyd, who is developing programs that encourage commuters and residents to engage in travel options outside of single-occupancy vehicles.

We’ll meet at 5:00 PM in the middle of Holladay Park, and begin our ride at 5:15. We’ll end the ride around 6:45 PM at Duckworth Dock for Lloyd Live: At the Dock. Here you can dive into the best swimming hole in Portland’s central city, located on the Eastbank Esplanade, with live tunes provided by Bike DJ PopCartPDX. This car-free oasis is only accessible by foot or wheels with many bike racks available right on the dock. Swim ladders along the dock make it safe and easy for everyone to join in the fun.
