“Willamette: River to the People” A Portland River Culture Photo Exhibition and Beach Party

Join our partners and friends at the Human Access Project and photographer Dustin Patterson (_split.time_) for a one-of-a-kind beach party… in November!

To make it feel just like a day at the river, our friends from PopCartPDX will be spinning tunes, just as they did for our Lloyd Live at Duckworth Dock series. The event, hosted at The Jupiter Hotel, will also feature a wood-fired mobile sauna.

This party celebrates the unveiling of photographer Dustin Patterson’s new zine, “DUCKWORTH.”

We are so excited to support this, as the zine is a collection of images from Duckworth Dock and features many beautiful moments from our own community programming. Dustin Pattison is a Portland-based street photographer. In his own words, “Street photography is my primary means of exploring and documenting communities and the ways we interact with each other and our shared environment. With a keen eye, I set out to capture the meaningful, authentic, or poignant moments within the frenzy of city and public life.”

If you spent time on the Willamette this summer, are excited about Portland’s emerging river culture, and love an excuse to hang out in a robe in public, this exhibit is for you!

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a public space we all helped activate. Come dressed for a beach party (swimsuits and bathrobes are encouraged!) to support the partners who make our community so vibrant.
