Join Lloyd EcoDistrict and the Northeast Broadway Business Association (NEBBA) on Friday, September 18th as we celebrate international Park(ing) Day by transforming ordinary curbside parking spaces into a welcoming “Civic Porch.” Park(ing) Day reimagines how public street space can bring people together, support local businesses, and foster community connection. This year, we are setting up our outdoor porch on NE Broadway to host local leaders and talk about the future of our neighborhood, city, and county.

What to Expect:
Meet Your Candidates & Elected Officials: Drop by to chat with current elected officials and candidates running for Multnomah County District 2 and Multnomah County Chair. It is a great chance to ask questions and talk one-on-one about local issues. Closer to the event, we’ll have a schedule of participating candidates and elected officials.
Interactive Engagement Boards: Tell us what matters most to you in the Lloyd, NE Broadway area, and nearby areas.
Local Business Love: Grab a treat, tea, or coffee from neighboring shops while you hang out with us on the porch.
