Party on, Portland! at Holladay Park (and the Portland Criterium around the Lloyd Center!)

Join us for one of Portland’s biggest community events of the summer! The POP! Party (Party on, Portland!) is back, and this year, it’s happening alongside the Portland Criterium, making for an unforgettable day of fun, energy, and connection in the Lloyd neighborhood.
What is the Portland Criterium?
The Portland Criterium – Presented by Steeplejack Brewing – is a high-speed, closed-course bike race where elite cyclists compete on a short, fast loop through city streets. Riders complete dozens of laps around the Lloyd Center, taking tight corners at top speed and thrilling crowds with every pass. It’s fast. It’s loud. It’s incredibly fun to watch as a few thousand people come out to cheer –
The race takes over the streets surrounding Lloyd Center from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a beer garden, vendor booths, and unbeatable, up-close views of the action. Learn more about the Porland Criterium here.
What’s happening at the POP! Party?
While the Crit racers zoom by, Holladay Park becomes the center of celebration with activities for all ages, families, and neighbors. We’re still working out the details, but we hope POP! will feature:
DJs, dance, and interactive performances
Lawn games and carnival-style activities
Splash pad fun, water play zones, and misting stations
Temporary tattoos, arts & crafts, and hands-on art
Wellness booths with things like chair massages and local wellness businesses
Bike cheer stations and sign-making to support racers
Free giveaways and nonstop summer vibes
30–40 local organizations, small businesses, and community groups
Whether you’re a bike racing fan, a community enthusiast, or just looking for something joyful to do, this is the place to be. Come for the party, stay for the race, or the other way around. Either way, you’ll be right in the middle of something special.
