Abby’s Closet: Prom Dress Giveaway

Each spring, Abby’s Closet hosts a two day prom dress giveaway that helps make prom accessible and joyful for high school students across the region. Taking place at the Oregon Convention Center, the event will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students are invited to choose a prom outfit that reflects their personal style at no cost.

More than 7,000 donated dresses will be available, ranging from vintage to brand new, short and long options, and sizes from 0 through 20 and beyond. The event is completely free, allowing students to save their money for life after high school while still enjoying an important milestone.

Abby’s Closet is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for students of all gender identities, abilities, sizes, and backgrounds. Their goal is for every participant to feel confident, supported, and celebrated as they prepare for prom.
